My Dad had one of these with the fully removable roof and the 400 back in the 80s, had the whole thing redone, painted and pinstriped to match the boat he bought it to tow. Unfortunately, the engine rebuild wasnt exactly great and a pinhole in the oil pan caused it to lock up on the highway. Dropped a 350 under the hood and trucked on until it was replaced with a Sierra not long before the boat was sold.

Keep up the revivals, you guys do a great job. I'm a mechanic by trade and I watch your stuff after my kids go to bed while I have my nightly smoke.
  • The frame cracks where the steering box bolts to the frame on those blazers and jimmies and there is a weld in fix for it that will make it very stout and back to normal.

Not trying to be negative or talk crap because I love your channel and look forward to new videos each week, but as veteran mud rider I would like to give a piece of advice, never take your truck into black mud because it is soft and floats so you can never really tell how deep it is. Can’t wait for the next video!

I love these old steel bodies. It's the profile, the motors, the interiors. Like if GM just remade the same body with newer materials, put the base 5.3L in it I think they would sell faster then Mavericks or Wranglers

I had one of those. Mine was a 1977 and full time four wheel drive. Loved that thing. Bought it at 17 for hunting season for $700. Sold it two years later to move to Denver and got $700 for it. It was awesome!!! I love those rigs! My mom worked at a car lot and I had like 4 or 5 cars by 19 😂 Those were the days.

I’ve never seen a vehicle stop that quickly without actually hitting anything. That was beautiful.
  • Great as always. Hope yall weren't effected by those nasty storms and tornados.
  • whenever phoenix and Kevin get together you know its gonna be a good vid! all love from FL!

Perfect timing. Need something to take my mind off my shed that blew away. Well into the trees. 50 mph winds are a biotch
  • Keep the REVIVALS COMING!!! LOVE ALL The Videos, but the REVIVALS Are Great!!! 🔧🇺🇸🔧🇺🇸🔧🏁🏁
  • The barn find farm truck video (2 episodes ago) was the EXACT tech that I needed. The swedge locks holding the axle shaft in place are notorious for rusting in place or simply not wanting to come out. However a small sledge hit right in the center does the trick but for the most stuckest ones hit another sledge together on the center and itll treat you right. Thanks for all the tech you show 👍👍

Love these revivals! Don't know why but there's just something about these vids of bringing a classic car back to life when the previous owner decided it was too far gone. It just fills me with joy somehow, even when sometimes the cars really are way beyond saving (yes I know this one was in great shape but it was still kinda left for dead).

I love the old amc eagle. My grandma had a wagon like that, then later my dad had the sedan back in the early 90s.
  • @rraatz6636
I absolutely love to see that your still rocking the old amc eagle
