I remember as a kid, downloading all the sonic for hires, editing them into a continuous video and uploading it so I could watch it all in one sitting, only for it to be immediately copyright struck lmao.

The fact this series has lasted years and still holds up is such a testament.

Soniqua is probably my favorite fan character ever created. She definitely carries the show for me.

Whats funny is that Sega actually purchased the company that owns Angry Birds.... So ...

I can't believe this series is less than 4 hours long. It feels much more longer and bigger in general. Truly majestic, like a crack rock the size of a fist.

I remember watching this when I was younger and almost all of the jokes flew over my head. It truly deserves so much more appreciation now that I can understand the jokes.

What’s incredible is this series ended but when revived it didn’t miss a beat. It’s just as good as it was.

Y'know, everyone calls Sonic an asshole in this, but throughout the whole series he still genuinely cares about his friends. Like Eggman, Tails, and Mario, have all screwed him over at least twice but he doesn't hold any grudge past that specific season (besides Tails in season 4)

My little head cannons for Sonic Goes to College: 1. Sonic and the gang are all in the same dormitory room 2. Sonic ends up going into drinking and smoking parties instead of studying 3. Eggman and Jim starts a club involving drugs and deep fried food and tits 4. Tails being badmouth and bullied by jocks and upperclassman and nobody helps him 5. The entire crew ends up getting expelled for doing a bunch of fucked up stuff

This was super nostalgic. I've watched this series for 7 years and counting, and it's still just as funny as the first time

Ahhh, the 2000's and early 2010's, a time where jokes were...so...immensely freakin' crass. Some of these are DEFINITELY dated lmao, but honestly, this whole series is a case of winners with the odd stinkers, and its nice to catch up on it again. Excellent work, everyone :)

One of the best web series ever made. Seriously underrated. (Edit for those who got angry at me for saying this for some reason): To add context to my comment here, this series when it was released. It was released in like 2010 by a side channel of the defunct channel Machinima, and the viewership from what I remember was never extremely high despite the quality of the shows animation for a Youtube show at the time (Some episodes would struggle to hit 100K again, from what I remember but I could be wrong, but I always felt the numbers were low), this was due in part to how Machinima ran it's channel and it's contributors (The Machinima channel is a rabbit hole in of itself for bad ethics toward content creators). There was also a long period of time, where when the only way you could really watch this show was from re-uploads. And then a really bizarre twist when RoosterTeeth picked up the show for like one season after a pretty long time of inactivity which was the last season to air. I imagine this had something to do with contractual obligations (And why the show was switched to Hedgehog for Hire as it's title) that LowBrow couldn't upload this series sooner, and why the Machinima logo can still be seen in some episodes, because they are the only versions that basically survived all of this. It's just my opinion and this is all speculation, but that's why I think it's under-rated. The viewership it's getting now is what it deserved over 10 years ago and never received, even after all the BS the show and LowBrow had to go through.

I remember wayyyyy back when I was younger watching this, then a few years later it was gone, then a few years after that it was on RT with a new season. And now I’m here. After so many rewatches and countless laughs, I really just want to say thank you to Lowbrow studios for this.
