In this video, I solve the Gardener and the Winnower. I prove their existence by using lore and the mystery religion known as Gnosticism, and answer burning questions, like where is the Gardener and why didn't she appear in the Final Shape? Watch this video, for it answers questions regarding the Traveler, Prismatic, the Witness our guardian's purpose, and the Final Shape itself.

The old symbol for the Demiurge was a Lions head, a Snakes body, and the claws of an eagle....

  • Dude you did so good, I’ve been playing for 10 years and I love the lore of this game, and you well explained this and I hope that we get to see the gardener and winnower some day

Using "Battle Ready" as your intro music makes me feel like I'm having an insane epiphany every time I start one of your videos 😂

A destiny channel with this philosophical approach on lore is what i've been looking for all this time. Good job :)

Other aeonic beings (if im spelling it correctly) would be represented in game by other entities weilding the echoes which are prismatic or so it seems. That would currently look like msund12/maya/the cunductor and the frikrul i think

I agree mostly with exception for the Gardener. feel that the Traveler is device or vessel for communion/contact with the Gardener and that the Gardener still lurks about as the cutscenes and lore depict the Traveler creating the Ghosts. In addition, if the Winnower is the principle of competition|death|growth (as in the Cambrian explosion depicting the principle of himself at play and the early pages of Unveiling describing their beings as "fundamental principles"), then so would the Gardener be the principle of creation and cooperation. The Traveler could have its own sentience and believe itself to be the Gardener much like the demiurge, but ultimately be just a great machine for the Gardener.

One of the first allusions in Unveiling is to the German philosopher and mystic, Jakob Böhme. Influential to Hegel and Schelling, he reinvigorated discussions surrounding Gnosticism in the sixteenth century. In addition, if Prismatic Transcendence serves as the “divine spark” of the Traveler’s will, I wonder if the “umbral” core of humanity hinted in Unveiling results in the opposite (more than opposite) of immanence, a framework just as important to gnosis as transcendent is. Good stuff!

Ayy! Great video once again! Great work my fellow Guardian.
  • So is the winnower and the Traveler both omnipotent? Or is there something above them that stands as the 1 true creator.
  • I got a question, you say that the Gardener and the Traveler are two separate entities, but then why does the Witness always refers to the Traveler as the Gardener? hope u can help me understand :)
