Bill Johnson talks about the purpose of authority and our responsibility to walk in it. Jesus’ disciples misunderstood the purpose of authority when they wanted to call down fire on a town that did not welcome Jesus. God’s purpose in giving us authority though is not to destroy or release judgement, but to build people and cities, and to break cycles of injustice, loss, death, and destruction. When we surrender to God’s mission, we are commissioned with authority to do good works and follow in Jesus’ footsteps, revealing a perfect Father and breaking cycles of injustice. There is an invitation to us to walk in greater authority to serve and bring freedom to those who have been trapped by injustice. Will you say yes?

    Understanding the importance of Authority Especially in these chaotic times, will be the power boost needed for effective prayer. If Jesus is our Head & ee ARE His Body on earth, it is His Authority that flows through us at the direction of His Spirit! This is His Right hand punch to the enemy. But the secret Left hand punch comes from OUR God-given Authority, Restored in our Salvation by Jesus! Created in the image of our Father & Commissioned to “GUARD & KEEP (safe) our Garden! Our Garden IS our area of Holy Resonsibility, our families, schools, cities, states & Country!! Following Jesus example, we let the enemy have it with a one, two punch of The Word! These are the days of Ziglag….Inquire of The Lord for Battle strategies, then “GO, & RECOVER ALL!”
