Hey fam! We had an informative stopover in Qatar on our way to Africa. As one of the safest and richest countries in the middle east, its history was built on controversial immigrant labor. When i visited Qatar, i noticed many migrant workers doing the so called dirty jobs. And I understand why - most of the workers come for uneducated backgrounds, and everytime i met the migrant workers, the never took any responsibility and weren't polite or friendly, and the areas where they lived were littered and dirty. Unfortunately thats the sad reality, and you can watch my videos to see this first hand. Other nationalities, especially Arabs, Qataris or Europeans were really nice and friendly and even bought me coffee. The past is past, and Qatar is a great place to enjoy a good life, but yes, the kefala system is there but is not misused in most cases. Media just like over exaggerate the issue, all the uber drivers, and the migrant workers often have accommodation provided as well, which in contrast to their own countries specially Indo-asia, do not have. Also if you compare working conditions of Qatar versus their countries, Qatar is better by miles. Thats my observation, appreciate the video!🎉
  • Cheers from 2 Canadians 🇨🇦 living in Mexico 🇲🇽✌🏼 God Bless 🙏🏼
  • I was so excited to see you in Qatar. I was there in April and loved it. As a solo traveler, I felt safe alone, even at night. The malls were huge, and the hospitality was warm. Much love from Texas.
  • Whoop Whoop! I love it. Y'all's filmmaking skills are top shelf ✊🏾 I worked in Kuwait and the working conditions are terrible for the foreign workrrs
  • We enjoyed Qatar as well. It’s beautiful and very clean there. It was our first experience before Africa and our first experience in Asia. Slavery was globally and not one situation better than the other. “He who leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity..”
  • The Middle East is a complete no no in my honest opinion. They aren't Black people friendly because there are too many of us folks who reported having a horrible time in the Middle East.
