Loki, at this point, is literally and metaphorically carrying the entire franchise.
  • @domblue
He was afraid of being alone, so he went through all possibilities, but at the final, he chooses to be alone for his friends. This show is powerful

Man im so glad that they didn't end the season with a cliffhanger for a third one. They had the balls to actually end a good show, perfectly at that
  • @simeontolotu3679
The fact that loki literally spend a century studying science and physics just to come back and save the timeliness is just out of this world
  • Who would have told me about 10 years ago that the Avengers would travel in time and because Hulk hated stairs, Loki would have one of the best superhero series and the best character development in the entire MCU?? Characters, visuals, music, mysteries, twists, performances, Loki, Tom and everyone who worked on it made a Glorious series
  • Kang’s timeline was based on science and had a limit. Loki’s timeline is based on magic and it’s limitless. What a majestic ending!
  • @jerkycam
I was also impressed by the lack of a superviallain fight or even interaction at the end. Loki ended up with a battle inside himself.
  • @Ember_Prime
I can already tell that Loki as a show will become the new standard for writing a science fiction show. Everything about it was perfect.

What I love about this ending is that loki finally accomplishes his glorious purpose. Not by opressing, killing or tricking, but by acting like a real king would and take responsibility, accept all his regrets and watch over his people which is basically the multiverse. We started the show with our classic trickster loki, and ended up with a worthy Odin son
  • The ending is so poetic When he least wanted the throne he got it When he most wanted his friends he got alone

The scene of Loki wrangling timelines together, ascending to the throne, with that phenomenal score by Natalie Holt, is one of the best scenes in the MCU.
  • The thing that broke me the most was the fact that nobody was aware that he went through centuries of trials and errors to prevent the destruction of the Loom, and since both the timeline points where he time-slipped to talk to Mobius and Sylvie in person for the last time disappeared into strands, he didn't actually get to say goodbye to the two before he walked out to become one with the timelines.

Tom Hiddleston’s Dedication and Passion to Marvel and Loki - He read all the comics as he was growing up. - He watched the movies since the beginning and loved them. - He held multi-day long ‘Loki’ & ‘Marvel’ lectures for the entire cast and crew even going to Owen’s house several days in a row to help him prepare for his role as ‘Mobius.’ - He learnt Norwegian and sang in it as well as study Norse lore to prepare for his role in the first Thor movie. - He asked the composer, Natalie Holt to put certain music tracks into particular scenes. - He was made ‘special executive producer’ since he has such passion and knowledge of Marvel!

I'm still tearing up on the face he made when he said "For You. For All of Us." That's the face of extreme pain and sadness.
  • @GingerbreadMan88
I also loved how one could see Loki and He Who Remains as two different types of gardeners. One who prunes all the time, just to force the timeline to grow in a specific way he deems acceptable; the other more as a caretaker, who doesn't prune at all but obviously nurtures the timeline in such a way that it can grow into Yggdrasil, a majestic tree.

If Loki is an Asgardian (or atleast became one) - the temporal radiation just made Loki grow older which just makes him stronger and more powerful. The horns and costume is top notch and my favorite thing. I'll miss Loki.

the golden lines is called Kintsugi, a Japanese art of repairing pottery that highlights the cracks forever after. Loki having them in his crown signifies that he's finally acknowledged all the ways he himself was broken and that he's choosing to remember that even as he's finally fixed and redeemed.
  • @THEPELADOMASTER
Honestly I think the ending was beautiful. I don't think it could've ended in a better way than it did. It's by far one of the best entries in the MCU.
