Good job Manon. My Garmin bleeps at me when I’m going full gas on a steep hill and it assumes I’ve stopped 😂😂😂
  • @biketrybe7071
Thank you for taking us to these beautiful places. Kudos to Manon for pushing on. I felt every turn of her pedals and appreciated her persistence.
  • @ametti000
Huh? What about the Pico Veleta in Spain?
  • NONSENSE. INCORRECT INFORMATION. The top of Pico Veleta is also accessible by bike and it’s 3.396 meters in altitude. Almost 300 meters higher than this tiny hill. Cycle from Trévelez or Capileira and you’ve got yourself a gravel ‘road’ included as well. Even more challenging if you decide to bikepack with a camp along the way. If you think that would be hard, then try traditional camping equipment of 15 kg. Have fun!

Incredible ride. Manon has become a goat and well done for pushing.

Sunday morning GCN & GMBN video dump! How am I supposed to do that gardening job now?
  • @markcowell8096
Well done Manon....Si bonked on a flat 100km shopping run on a super bike....Manon Queen of the Mountains on brutal gravel!! Great companion riding from Hank too.
  • @NinjaElephant
Actually the Pico Veleta in Spain with 3396 m is higher, it is accessible by classic road bike, it has an elevation gain of 2800hm and a stunning view over Sierra Nevada. Looking forward to a GCN story about that climb. 😉
  • I remember cycling up to Gornergrat with the view on the Matterhorn. Although there a lot of pushing involved 😂
  • @MrGarycoww
Well done guys especially Mannon 🎉❤

Way to go young lady you inspire us all🎉🎉🎉

Is this the pass next to the Ortlerpeak near the three country divide Austria, Italy, Switzerland. The Madritserjoch? Or is it the climb from Embrun the Parpaillon? Or is the Kleiner Matterhorn pass between the Matterhorn and Breithorn on the Swiss Italian border. Define rideable.
  • @Mark8v29
Have any of the team considered doing the GDMBR route or Tour Divide race? The GDMBR is on my bucket list at a slow pace. What scares me is the altitudes are so excessive it's in the altitude sickness zone. I did a very quick check of Switzerland which has awesome hiking but it looks like in the main central tourist area its either hiking or train in the step parts. No roads or gravel. I image how awesome it must be for the locals who have the route as a weekly training route. They must be massively fit. While hiking in Switzerland I saw local elderly people slowly making their way of steep hiking trails. You guys are amazing cyclists. Would it be too much to say that how you felt on this ride is how less able cyclists feel on rides you take in your stride?
  • @cmira5811
I'm clicking everytime these two are together. Hank, stop pushing Manon into traffic.
  • @cb6866
Thank you JLW , Manon , and crew...what was James' total elevation ? Very cool ..
  • All i'm thinking about while watching this: how much fun must this decent be!?
  • Amazing climb! Would be keen to hear more about the set-up Mannon was riding as it looked like a massive cassette out back.
