For the video on large watches, demonstrate them on a 5.5in wrist.

When I traveled to Paris some years ago, I bought the Sportura SLQ023 from an AD. It caught my eye because it's such an iconic limited edition piece, but I have a smaller wrist. That's why I find this video very handy. As a collector, I make profits from watches, so I will do my research and find out how much she is worth. I might buy the SRPK29 for my small wrist.

As someone with a 7" wrist, I really appreciate this video. Good choices, I think. But I also agree that it's slightly amusing that you couldn't borrow a friend with a smaller wrist size to model for you. Would really love to see a smaller wrist demo big watches, as @TheNeybor suggested, lmao.

still so many watch brands (mostly the big names) who refuse to list lug to lug distance/height, and just a case diameter. alot of micros will list these details.
  • @SmurfPerfect
Good thing these smaller watches are shown on a bear paw
  • Great video as always guys! Definitely think the Oceanguard GMT would be right at home on your wrist here! Hope all is well on your end and again, great video!
  • @jaysterling26
Good selection. Watches that I own include: Certina DS action diver 38mm; Hamilton jazzmaster 34mm ( on sites sometimes as ' ladies' watch but it isn’t- 90% brushed ); Seiko 5 - snxs , snkl - old, new stock versins ( creation watches); Dan Henry 1962 ; Seiko SBTR027; CW c63 36mm - wears more 38mm on its bracelet; smaller on a strap.
  • @VulcanSpock
Is it me, or part of the Seiko SRPK29 date wheel is lumed as well???
  • Thank you for making this video! There were some interesting selections on here, but I'd say two for each category is just too few. I know you want to keep the video relatively short, but I think doubling the number of watches and talking about each one a bit less would be quite valuable to your viewers. And, yes, that's too big of a wrist for a video that mentions "smaller wrists" right in the title. Also, in no world is 40mm considered small, but you did do a good job coming in under that number. The magic number is 38mm diameter for future videos. Not sure about lug-to-lug measurements, but I suspect somewhere around 45mm would the upper end there. I'm looking forward to your next video on the topic.
  • As an owner of a small wrist(6ish inches) I have to say that choice of a short strap is so much more difficult than small watch
  • @morgan97475
Love the JLC. But that Timex Marlin looks pretty darn nice too.
  • @kkatpheiz
Yeah, the wrist is wrong here, probably would be better to demonstrate it on women's wrist (no offense, I have 6.1" too), and friendly reminder for all small-wristers - as in video mentioned - lug to lug is WAY more important than diameter.
  • @Nick-ih5qz
suuper video thanks for doing this. one (or two:) price levels higher would be nice as well
  • @patmatsancheese
Timex watches are truly beautiful, surpassing their price range.
  • This is a nice list. I have the timex 36mm expedition north solar. Very nice dial but the lume is not that great.
  • @jimou9657
What's the wrist size did the demonstration in the video?
