Captions are available in the settings. :face-blue-smiling: Let me know in the comments what you think about Ruslana's story, if you remember her Nina Ricci ad campaign, who your favourite models are and if you've ever dreamt of becoming a model yourself (or maybe you've had experience with that world)!

The modelling industry is wicked. They pluck the youngest most naive and then after abusing them, they are disgarded as they grow older and self aware.

Being beautiful’s main curse is feeling like you’ll never be loved, because being beautiful is something that men seem to be blinded by, and end up treating you more like an accessory rather than a human with a heart. I still think she was killed, but her depression for feeling like she’ll never find love will forever resonate with me. She deserved to be treated better her angelic energy radiates through her pictures. r.i.p to this beautiful fairy 🧚🏻‍♀️

There should be an age standard globally as to when people are allowed to model in any industry. The horror these children/young people go through is not okay. Clearly she was used and abused by disgusting dirty men who then blocked her career chances.

One day, I hope Vlada (Roslyakova) does an interview on her friendship with Ruslana. I wonder what she thinks happened and to hear her perspective on the modelling world. Controversial opinion but I think Ruslana was murdered. RIP beautiful girl.

I remember when she died, I was about 15 yo and in my room I had a poster of her Nina Ricci campaign...I didn't know her but her story was so sad it really affected me RIP to this beauty and icon. I hope her family and friends have found peace after this terrible loss

Imagine being as stunning as she was, yet the modeling industry doesn't want you anymore.. wild. I wish she had stayed in school. Clearly was a smart woman being fluent in so many languages.

She was an angel who lived a hell on earth. May she be in a better place now

I was in college at that time, at Pace Uni a few blocks away staying in the dorms on fulton. I was walking down the street and watched her body hit the ground from about a block away. I didn't know who she was, just saw her splayed out, and found out later on. I was traumatized. It was a horribly hot summer day, sort of a still, totally oppressive heat. Eerie.

Apparently she was flown to Epstein Island 2 years before she lept. 😢

Shes gorgeous. This is so sad..i wouldnt or couldn't leave my child by herself to model knowing theres so much predators out her grooming young girls...its nyc hell nooo
  • @meeracle_child
I know what it’s like being used by men and being seen as an object! It’s heartbreaking! A beauty like that might have gone through 10X worse! It sucks how women are treated

Yil... your voice and presentation are nothing less than AMAZING. Your gentleness is what this story needed. This innocent child would still be here had she decided on university instead of modeling. She wasn't even 21...my god. It's a horrible tragedy whether suicide or murder... she's not here anymore. She just wanted to be LOVED. She didn't understand that those wealthy men had no intention of marrying her. A broken 💔 heart at that age is very traumatizing. Yes, her face and body were flawlessly beautiful, but her HEART ♥ and SOUL were so much more beautiful. Her poor mother... I don't know how she managed. The fashion world ONLY CARES ABOUT "MONEY 💵!!" I wish I could rewing time and tell her, "NO Ruslana... go home to your mother and brother; then go to university in Germany. You don't have to search for love...it will find you." And the other model, as well. That "Rose Cult" made her situation worse. AND who knows what happened on epstein's island?!

Since there is a line of people why werent they question about Jef E? Seems everyone knew him... this girl was fed to him.
  • @Saraflowerk
I'm sorry to hear she passed. You hear messages telling women not to dull their light, but sadly the darkest people can be attracted to you when you shine bright. The modeling industry attracts darkness and perpetuates harsh standards for weight/height/etc. but in this case it's the opportunistic men and the cult to blame.

So sad I hope she finds peace it’s so sad her mother was so right , I can’t imagine the sadness and regret her mother must have felt

If you not a nepo baby or a famous influencer with millions of follower, the way to get in a successfull long life as a model is hard. Agency often take the nepo baby insted of a professional model with more experience and better walk. They know, if the parents show up, they have the free publicity. Otherwise, Leni Klum and Lilly Rose Depp are never bookt on so huge brands like Chanel.
