Evolution of Xbox (Animation)

It’s crazy how far these game consoles have come.

Fun Fact: After the first few years of the Original Xbox's release (before 360), that console became very popular due to the modding that was happening on the console. Its security was busted wide open not too long after its intital release, and a few years later it became one of the very first all-in-one consoles with players not only expanding game playability through emulators, but also developing programs such as XBMC and other media players to play videos, music and movies (the latter to avoid paying extra for the DVD dongle). Unfortunately, these things (minus emulators which came later also through modding) were available out-of-the-box with a PlayStation 2, which is the reason it sold so many units.

I just relived my childhood through this video. Thank you for this trip down memory lane. Its crazy to see how far Xbox, and technology, has come the past 23 years

I've had my Xbox Series X for 5 weeks and I love it, also this is a great evolution video

My only criticism with this remaster of this video is that your voice sounds less enthusiastic and there are very weird audio balancing issues occasionally, which made it feel tedious to watch compared to the last, but I like the new additions, so good work nonetheless.

I love seeing flat icons of xbox controllers or any kind of controller it's so satisfying

One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the video that most people didn’t know about the 360. Some 360’s originally was released with a competition to BluRay called HD DvD Player and came with its own Xbox themed universal type remote

It’s funny how when the next generation of consoles come out, it feels like it will never get discontinued and will last and sell forever. I actually had this feeling while the ps4 and Xbox one was out.

You need to have at LEAST 4 mil subs these animations are the best I’ve seen on YouTube
