Total domination by this Korean dude. His semifinal was amazing!
  • @boJi12
The ref didn't end the match on his own volition. Magomedov was about to receive his 5th penalty which woulld automatically disqualify him for the round.

    I love Park's energy 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 He's so fast and smart! Congrats 🏅🎉

Congratulations on winning the gold medal in Taekwondo Korea!
  • @primary8775
It appears Magomedov self-injured rather than kiced to the shin.--very clear in slow motion.
  • @Aseity
Felt really bad for Gashim Magomedov.. played his best regardless of early injury. Much respect and admiration to both players!
  • @anlewi1
I love it when they all display good sportsmanship and care about someone who is injured.
  • @gkskdi6623
It looked as if Gashim kicked Park's knee with his shin. Park is very energetic and agile and I think even if Gashim injured himself, Park would have won .

Park Taejoon wll be back for 2028 Olympic to collect another gold medal for sure.🎉 He makes Taekwondo exciting to watch!

Ugh injured in the gold medal match, so unlucky. Congrats to Park!

I'm so proud of you, 박태준! 🎉❤😊 congratulations!!

This fight should’ve been ended after the 1st half. Very bad call by the referee and his coach when he couldn’t even walk properly on that leg👎🏾
  • @bighammer3464
Should be pretty obvious red’s winning move here was to go for the crane kick. Coach comes over to look at his leg, says “I’m gonna start playing some inspirational music, you know what to do!” 😂
  • @vince01lp
I do think the referee should have ended the match after the first set or round, as it was obvious that the red could not land any kicks on the blue…
  • @Mylee_Cryus
    Amazing technique! Congratulations Park Taejoon

Even as a Korean, it's so painful to watch. I feel bad for the opposing player, and Park's legitimate attacks seem so merciless. However, Park couldn't stop attacking. It was the Olympic game after all.
  • he should've quit due to his injuries. After the second time he felt pain, he became a pray to that Korean man. I guess he didn't want to quit. Good man.

In the Olympics, the Taekwondo competition follows according to regulations by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). There is also the International Taekwondo (ITF), where the regulations are somewhat different. That said, Park Taejoon 🇰🇷 was dominant overall. But he also demonstrated sportsmanship when checking Gashim Magomedov 🇦🇿 on his injury. Credit to Magomedov for his determination to keep going despite his barely being able to even stand! Well done!👍🥇

Know when to quit man…. Can’t compete next time if you do permanent damage to yourself. Don’t let your pride get the best of you. A piece of metal is not worth permanent damage.
