Hi guys! For those of you who may be a little intimidated with making poached eggs at home, I hope today's tutorial will show you just how easy it is! You can store poached eggs for 4-5 days in the fridge (see more tips in the recipe post), so they're also great for meal prep! What's your favorite breakfast with poached eggs? xo - Lisa
  • After you eat breakfast, you can spend the rest of the day washing dishes from your breakfast.

This is exactly what you want out of a video on cooking. A quick explanation, pointing out possible mistake with a demonstration, and nothing drags on too long losing important points in filler.

I had never made a poached egg before (I'm 53). Today, I wanted one for breakfast on some avocado toast, so I brought up this video, watched it, and followed this with absolute precision. I made one for me and one for my wife, and she and I agreed that they came out absolutely perfectly. We were blown away. My first two poached eggs EVER were as perfect as anything I've ever had at a restaurant. Thanks for the great tutorial.
  • Hi, I just felt the need to comment: I'm 27 and never learned how to cook properly, and this video made it EASY to make poached eggs. They were perfect, firm and tasty! This video is definitely one I'll be sharing with anyone else that thinks poached eggs are hard to make

I have never cooked a poached egg in my (61 year) life. I followed your directions this morning and they were PERFECT first time out! Suffice to say I'll be doing a lot more poached eggs. Thanks so much!
  • I lost my recipe and wanted a poached egg this morning. So, I turned to YouTube and found your video. It was not only what I was looking for, it gave me more. Thank you so much from my tummy!
  • I firmly believe that the easiest way to poach an egg is to wait until the hen is not looking, then poach the egg as quickly as possible from her nest.
  • It’s 2 am and I’m suddenly excited to try to make a poached egg in the morning

I have never made poached eggs before and something told me this morning would be the day! I watched your video and was able to make the most perfect egg even without having vinegar on hand nor brand new eggs! Thank you so much for making such a short and sweet explanation!!
  • 4 years later and still helping beginners make it seem so easy! Your demonstration methods are next level! Keep making more videos!

It's 2am. I was getting the 2am munchies and wanted something to eat. Coincidentally I fell down the rabbit hole of cooking content, and decided to try and poach an egg for the first time ever. Followed this tutorial and it came out perfectly. Was my first time even having a poached egg and I couldn't be happier with the results.

  • Aside from the fact that she did all that experimentation for us, to get to the perfect way to poach an egg, she seems like an all-around great person, and one who would be good company for breakfast or any other meal. Not all YouTube presenters have that easygoing air.
  • @YellawayHD
