Documentary about one of Britain's oldest family circuses. The Paulo family has been performing in circuses since the 1800s, and theirs is run by Big Kenny with the help of his wife Kath and their three sons. Big Kenny is worried about low ticket sales and rising petrol prices. Kenny Junior and his wife Teddi both perform in the circus, but they have a four-year-old daughter and, as she approaches school age, they must decide whether a life on the road is right for them.

This film was first broadcast: 29 Jun 2012

You can't reason with the Cranks,I've worked in circus, seen the animals and know that they are well looked after and cared for in a circus,I'm a Josser who was accepted into the circus.
  • Just to highlight this documentary is from 2012 and hence why animals were still used. I saw them today and they dont use animals anymore and its a very different yet still really impressive show.

I watched this because I’m 16 don’t know what kid of Future I will be able to have so I was considering joining the circus that comes to where I live for one week a year. However after watching this I think I’ve changed my mind I don’t think I could personally live this life.
  • I absolutely hate wild animals in circuses, but the horses were no different to my daughter taking her horse to a show jumping competition. It they’re well cared for I have no issue and the horses looked fine to me. The issue I have is the countries where elephants, lions and monkeys etc are made to perform.

5:50 Why is a 20+ woman interested in a 15 year old child? Disgusting that this man was preyed upon and the family allowed their marriage.
  • @Gecko....
That woman is so manipulative, the guy clearly doesn't want to leave the circus but she's making him. Never put up with a partner who wants to isolate you from your family.

Thank you for the video, I found out that investing is not for everybody, you just need a strong stomach too see your portfolio go down. It might be wiser for a novice to start with copy trading investing, but it is not easy. To invest in growth stocks it is another level, definitely you need to know what are you doing.

I’m sorry but a 22 year old stared dating a 15 year old. That’s definitely illegal not to mention they met when HE WAS 13.

Cant take the debate seriously when a gorilla is in the background 😂

All these recordings are 11 years old? Are you recording new or not?

Gemma Collins belongs in a circus!

Animal protesters have a point about the animals spending all those hours travelling, and having to perform. The horses may tolerate it but I bet they'd be happier in pasture.

Easiest life ever I’d love to join a circus it’s easy
