Definitely a good review. Thanks for sharing. This is definitely a machine for someone's first machine. I don't care for air tests personally, but they do tell you a little with target I'd numbers. Depth is never accurate. Have you ever seen a CTX 3030 do an air test? They fail pretty poorly from ones I've seen. Good for hearing tones and seeing what numbers things hit at for sure. You used a lot of items and have done a good review! The shaft is wobbly for sure! Don't extend it too far and it's a bit better. For $150 it's good for someone trying it out. Wicked happy hunting
  • Got one as backup for legend. May end up giving to a neighbor kid thats getting into detecting and get a Double Score as backup

I can't wait to see how this does out in the wild! Depth is a little disappointing in Park (probably something to do with a factory set high recovery speed for better separation), but has a chance to be a real jewelry killer. I run a Legend, but this might make a great second machine to bring a non-detecting friend along with. If Nokta managed to make a machine that's great on jewelry, waterproof, and at least serviceable on saltwater beaches for under $200 they'll sell a billion of them.
  • Thanks for sharing .. Happy Hunting ,, Hope you can do some live digs with it.. Peace

Thanks for the review. Nokta will probably be my next detector. Happy with my Garrett AT Pro but Iā€™ve heard itā€™s getting outdated from other detectorists.
  • Plug an inexpensive low latency transceiver into the adapter and use low latency headphones and you have a wireless system.
  • New sub. Thanks for sharing. Seems like a good beginner detector for sure! Happy Hunting šŸ€

    Yeah,,but again,,van it identify iron,,with a tone,,,,?
  • @lerosh2226
šŸ˜¢p.s Does it tell you its iron with a low tone ,?

Please, how deep does it detect? Forgive me if I said it in the video. I'm from Brazil and I don't speak English. It is starting to arrive here now and there are no explanatory videos in Portuguese.

Just a question but I see a button that has the same symbol as Recovery speed on other Nokta machines. If your recovery speed is high the VDIā€™s are harder to get until closer to the coil. I donā€™t have this machine so I could be extremely wrong. Be blessed and stay safe.

I been waiting to see the findx, You must have the first video up of it , cool. It looks like the depth meter is only showing two bars, it should peg out as you get farther from the coil ? Maybe being inside is affecting it ? Looking forward to watching you use it outside. Iā€™m curious of how it will work in the ground. It has good depth on air test, especially in field mode, for an entry level detector.,You should get a lot of views on this one, I think everyone is curious about it too. Thanks for posting.

Can you see if the pinpoint mode is retune capable? This is where one narrows done the pinpointed signal by placing the coil at the edge of the signal, releases PP button, then press PP again (shrinks signal by lowering PP sensitivity).
  • @mszat
Just sent ist back, no depth ,only field mode has some depth the others are unusable.

Not bad but if ur trying stick with the hobby, it confused the Heck out of people trying learn this hobby .
