Ukraine's top general says his forces have suffered several setbacks on the battlefield in the war against Russia. In posts made on social media on Sunday, the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Oleksandr Syrsky, said: "The situation on the front has worsened…The enemy has concentrated its main efforts on several areas, creating a significant advantage in forces and resources. The enemy is actively attacking along the entire front line, and making tactical gains in some areas…"

For more on this, we talk to military analyst Franke Ledwidge, who just returned from Ukraine.

WAIT - the same guy said russia "ran out of ammo" in August of 2022 was the SAME GUY that said "China is doomed to fail".
  • The Ukrainian general says the situation at the front is critical, but Mr Frank(an arm chair general) says it's not true.

Imagine what would Russians do if they had clean, not rusted shovels, and real microchips, not those pulled out from washing machines.

For anyone who follows at least partially the situation in Ukraine the analysis of this "expert" is an insult of our intelligence.
  • @jawadad73
"mobilize on the same scale as Russia"... and from what magic hat exactly would you expect them they pull those conscripts Mr expert?

Before Russia capturing a western tank it's a game changer
After Russia capturing it, it's an old model tank

And to think Blinken kindly asked China to not supply them with shovels...

    - Is this a reality check?
    - No. We knew it all along.

I want these western analysts' job - they can carry on being wrong again and again and againa and again and again ... over literally decades, and still call themselves experts and be paid.

There's a difference between Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Russia... it's beginning to be more and more clear

“The Ukrainians need to mobilize on a similar scale to that of the Russians” wow, you don’t say! 🤯
  • the russians have learned a great deal from this war and damn it would be very difficult for any military to defeat them now.

The real news is: 47th mechanized brigade left its frontline positions because they werent rotated out for a year, Russians noticed the gaps on the frontline, and made a 6 km advance, capturing Ocheretine in a few hours, blocking any traffic towards the south. That made the 115th mechanized brigade's position untenable since they were surrounded, so they had to evacuate Berdichi. Ukraine has to retreat 10 kilometers towards the next potential natural barrier. North of that position in Krasnokhorivka two columns of tanks and troop carriers made a 4 km rush towards the town, and deployed assault squads on the southern outskirts, which almost instantly captured those positions. By seeing the success Russians sent a constant cycling of troop carriers and sent four tanks which rushed in the streets of the city and spotted the potential Ukrainian troop concentrations. Where they found some the troops were directed there, so they took 3/4 of the town by the end of the day.

Never in thousands years would I have thought that washing machine chips and shovels would be this effective in the battlefield 😂😂🤣🤣
