Wow. I love Luke but I don't think I ever really listened to this one. If I had I know I would have remembered! My brother died in a motorcycle accident. Thanks for the song.
-
It’s not Luke’s story. This song has been floating around for years. It’s so hard to sing no one wanted to touch it , until Luke came along.
-
Holy cow I’ve never really listened to just the lyrics of this - just got chills when I heard that guardrail line and how they buried him… wow! One hell of a story.
-
He hits this one out of the park as always. Loved the song but when he hit the guardrail my heard dropped. Very emotional but well done.
-
This song is powerful
-
Hahaha “I don’t think this is a children’s book” that was a good dad joke I can appreciate! Luke Combs is an amazing artist. This isn’t my favorite of his but it showcases his really good storytelling. Very good song!

If you have ever got this phone call you will understand the fear the racing of your heart in your throat and the tears rolling down your face.
-
I think it’s probably on your list, but his song Doin’ This is another great one. Also, One Number Away…
-
Love this song, great choice!
-
Great reaction! There are two books. Where The Wild Things Are and Where The Wild Things Grow. Not sure which is the childrens book. Sending some subs your way! Love from Texas 🤠
-
react more from luke from example Doin this, fast car, one number away, Going going gone.. luke is a machine on making hits.. hes really good
-
There is a video on Luke’s channel where they go through each song on the album and how it came to be. I suggest giving that a look/listen
-
You two are great. The song however does not directly apply to Luke Combs it was just a song that was floating around and a few other artists thought about producing it before Luke Combs did.
-
React to NF = Where have you been (music video ) NF talk about his mom

I never heard this one before & I just looked it up & yes; it is about his own brother. So sad. I had no idea. Brother did in a motorcycle accident, so Luke did this as a tribute to his brother.
