  • Yes very good method if your father have a factory of car's batteries. After 2-3 weldings you replace the baterry with a new one for the next 2-3 weldings :P

I especially like the part where drilling toward the hand is encouraged.

If you make one of the probes to have a greater surface area then only 1 spot will get hot instead of both contact spots.

Not the best way to weld, but its how I taught my self as young teen in my fathers workshop in a similar fashion. great memories. Thanks

Thank you, this was freaking HILARIOUS! 🤣😂🤣😂

Good product but what you need is some sort of fast switching mechanism.. Otherwise the current is too high to utilise and it will damage the part to be spot welded. Shorting the battery for a long time may even damage it. You can use a 200 amp relay as a switch.

Connecting 2 terminals of batteries with a diode.. Safety level is directly leading to the heaven

Instead of cutting the nail head you can solder it and it also helps in strengthen of the wire joiner.

That right, just short circuit the battery time and again. Now why do I think that could lead to disaster ?

Don’t know much about welding but neither does this guy 😂 P.S. The Stanley knife blades was different angle when shown closely.

Great for a cheap spot welder, but I suggest you do NOT use it on your battery packs! A fraction of a second too long and you are going to damage the cell! :(
