The reason we as a society are in the shape we are today is this movie validates people acting like her by him continuing to interact with her. The first time she came at him like that, any man should have shut down any further conversation with her, that’s the only way she would realize that her actions have consequences.

I’m from the Spike Lee “She’s gotta have it”, Ralph McDaniels, Lionel Martin Video Music Box era - and this took me back! Kudos! My daughter thought I wouldn’t like this story - and I told her, “you kidding me - I lived for the single camera set!” Great writing, funny, and believable! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I scrolled across scene 1 and had to find the rest and found the whole movie. Didn’t expect to enjoy it this much but this was extremely entertaining. Loved how you captured the girl’s initial reaction as a defensive mechanism. How a man’s honesty and kindness will breaks down walls. That first scene definitely needed context in this day and age. I hope many blessings come your way. Very well done!
