My aim is to make a video on every district of India!

Amaravati was going to be the modern and sustainable capital of Andhra Pradesh!

- It was planned to be made with an estimated amount of 1.3 billion USD (that’s 10,000 crore!)
- The World Bank with the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank invested 500 million USD for this project.
- 24,000 farmers gave up 35,000 acres of land for the greenfield city. This is bigger than the area of Chandigarh.
- The city was planned to accommodate a huge population of 3.5 million people.
- Amaravati planners assumed that 1.5 million jobs would be created in this city.
- The city was supposed to have underground electricity lines and internet cables.
- The legislative house was planned to be 68 metres taller than the Statue of Unity.
- Planners of this city had a vision of a sustainable city that’s why 50% of the city was planned to be left for greenspaces.
- But one election in 2019 changed everything, when Jagan Mohan Reddy won the election he decided that Amaravati’s plan would not be taken forward and cancelled it.
- Instead he proposed the 3 capital plan which is being contested in the court as we speak and the verdict would be delivered after the elections of 2024, while pushing the farmers who gave up their land into uncertainty.

  • Jagan Mohan Reddy's Ego made Andhra Pradesh a backward and capital less state 😢
  • @gs2316
Final Slap - Bye Bye Jagan.
  • People's talk about North farmers protest but no-one talk about this 1600 days are not a short number 😢😢
  • i appreciate your efforts to show the truth & struggles of the farmers (who donated their lands for our capital "Amaravati").
  • @sumit_101
1600 days protest and not many people even know about this in country itself.
  • Looks like Amaravathi might breathe again, Jagan has lost the elections!
  • Chandra Babu Naidu is again the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. I hope he will take steps for Amravati
  • Nice video, never thought that our neighboring state was struggling and already had a huge vision in their mind, what a dream project. From a common man (Chennai)

I blame mainstream media for not showing this comparisions before to the public. Atleast you covered it. Thank you.
  • @10ON10
The effort put in for this video are really commendable!
  • After watching your video, I understood one thing that to make Amravati the capital, billions of rupees are needed which the government does not have, hence the dream of making Amravati the capital remained only a dream.
  • @onsjsk37
Who is here after AP election results 2024?
  • @srinikoganti
Thank you for making a honest video. National media has no time to show this injustice and destruction.

I'm from Jharkhand and have seen no development since my childhood. There is huge opportunity for development but due to dirty politics and naxals no one dares to open an industry or run a business here. For any development you need to fund them and do according to them only. One other thing is literacy rate is also not increasing as here thes tribal people have got enough reservation so that they don't need to work so hard. The government remains same with each passing year and keeps on doing so with the help of those tribals only. I don't why a state with so much resources is not developing so fast😢
  • Singapore is built on the values of honesty & meritocracy. Indian can never build anything like Singapore until the system get rids of the corruption and relegion/caste-based politics.
  • @rajibnxt
