  • As someone who has listened to the Johnny Cash cover of this song many a time, I couldn’t stop smiling while watching this! I loved what you did with the arrangement, and Rick did such an amazing job on the Geoffettes’ makeup and beard styling. Also, I’m glad we’ve finally confirmed the fourth Geoffette’s name is Daryl. Howdy, Daryl!

I absolutely how Geoff doesn’t let being in an Acapella group prevent him from exploring his own passions and hobbies when it comes to music. Getting solo and group content from one of the best basses in Acapella history that’s quality is total gravy

First, this is one of my favourite things Geoff has done yet and I can't wait for everyone else to see it. Second, all the best to you and your family, Geoff, after the dreadful week with Hurricane Ian! Hope you guys are doing well.

I've always admired rock singers who could nail unbelievably high notes but it ain't easy to go so low, either. Mad respect.

i heard this song in my son's truck. I had never heard of this man or his voice but both are phenomenal. What an awesome deep voice he has. Reminds me of Josh Turner.

In addition to the epic vocals, can I just say how much I love the effort taken to make each of the alternate Geoff's a stand-alone character. Ghost #2 with the big beard and the duster seriously looks like he outweighs the others by about 40lbs, and I just now noticed that #3 is left-handed! Such attention to detail makes my heart happy.

Just found you and you are absolutely amazing! My gorgeous dad is 93 as of yesterday and has always loved songs from Westerns and country music guys. He is astounded at your range and we have listened to you for most of the morning and sang along.. Thankyou for the best birthday present I could have given him. We’ll be hearing your voice ringing through the house every day now. Much love Lynne (Northeast England] 💕🌈👏❤️
  • @skunkface
What an incredible voice. He sang all five parts.
  • Hey Geoff, last week I chose you for my presentation in english class and it was amazing! The teacher loved it and was completely flabbergasted when I started talking about subharmonics and all that 😂 and I even made her check you and Voiceplay out!! I'm very very much looking forward to this song, much love from France ❤️
  • The only singer who can make "yippy-yi-oh, yippy-yi-ay" sound good
  • It is amazing how a song written in the late 1940's has been covered by many generations of artists! This is a great version by these young musicians!!
  • @mintarobby
This was a masterpiece, every bit of it was spectacular and I can’t wait for you all to experience it.
  • @judydavis7993
This is my 98 yo mother's favorite song. I will be taking this to her LTC facility for her to hear. We'll probably have to blast it loud as she is hard of hearing but I'm sure the rest of the facility won't mind. Even though she has dementia the smile on her face will tell me everything I need to know. This was wonderful Geoff. Loved your rendition and that deep bass was the topping on the cake. 🤠🥰

As a kid in the 1960's, I used to listen to Burl Ives version on an old 78rpm record! This guy is excellent, he modernises these great tracks but does so with respect for the original... well done!
  • This song will always be a favorite. My father and his brothers would sing this song at every bonfire in the most beautiful 4 part harmony. Thank you for doing it justice.
  • @marymugge1523
Absolutely gorgeous! My grandpa was a bass and he loved singing this song to me when I was little. He's been gone for 8 years now but hearing this song brought him back for just a few minutes. Thank you for that. Always love listening to you dance along your vocal range, Geoff.
  • OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! I'm gonna die! I almost choked on my bite of dinnerwhen I saw this. 13 hours until premiere. This... this song. Oh gods, you guys. My father used to play guitar and sing it from my very first memories. It's one that ALWAYS brings back the absolute best memories I have of my father. And I'm going to get to hear Geoff do it in that voice that makes me feel like everything is right with the world. I'm already crying and I haven't even heard it yet.
  • @nbusiness9694
Okay, so just found this guy. Watched a bunch before i realized its one guy. Man what a voice.
  • Oh thank you! My favorite old West song. I grew up on the songs of the West. My mother was born in 1925 and grew up in Arizona. So she had collections of western songs she played for us as we grew up in the East. She's long gone so thank you for giving me a visit from her.

Geoff absolutely hits it out of the park with costuming and acting alone, let alone singing. Blows my mind every time
