Hugh Grant must go on making movies for the simple fact that it forces him to also continue doing those hilarious interviews.
  • The interviewer is the best I've ever seen. No interruptions, knows her stuff, and is obviously happy to do the interview.

WHY DOESN'T JANELLE HAVE HER OWN TALK SHOW? SHE'S AN AWESOME INTERVIEWER. SHE ASKS PERFECT QUESTIONS, SEEMS ENGAGING, AND HAS A MAGNETIC PERSONALITY.

it is so rare to see such an intelligent high level of an interview WOW! Hugh studied at Oxford & the interviewer seems to be a very well read intelligent woman, very impressive
  • @studio3ten
She needs to inverview EVERY actor. She is incredible.
  • @backto-il9ne
Not gonna lie: I've watched this interview like 20 times lol It gets funnier every time. He's just a comedic genius. He's so effortless with it too. And kudos to Jenelle. What a fantastic interviewer.

I don't usually like American interviews, but this lady would have to be the best, EVER! 👍

I love him, I adore him, he is never boring, he doesn't fall in the standard answers EVERY BLOODY actor FEELS they have to give... he TALKS, HE SAYS, HE EXSISTS as a man, as a person, as an actor, ... his insecurities, and fears and selfs deprecation... I love him
  • @Kaiserbill99
She is an excellent interviewer. Unlike most US talk show hosts she knows her subject and is more interested in what her guest has to say than in the sound of her own invoice.
  • @845H1R
She was well researched and enthusiastic and I think Hugh responded to that resulting in a great interview.
  • Hugh Grant is a true gem. Such a highly intelligent, witty, hilarious, charming and gifted human being.
  • I love Grant. He always starts off very guarded and untrusting, but then once he feels comfortable, his goofy side comes out.
  • @ferabra8939
Despite his self deprecating humor, he is a wonderful actor. Comedy is hard, romantic comedy too... Hugh is very Cary Grant in that way, making what's hard appear effortless.

I met Hugh Grant when I had no idea who he was. We chatted quite a bit over a few years' time and he was charming, morose, a hypochondriac and honestly a moaner. He was utterly wonderful to be friends with and I've never met anyone who was more resolutely 'themself'. I admire him tremendously and miss his friendship but regular people don't inhabit movie stars' orbit. I wish him all the best.

This lady is fabulously refreshing. Diametrically opposed to the self-absorbed, semi-literate bimbos with nasty, creaky-voice affectations and next to no knowledge of their subject/guest, that are unfortunately littering our screens in ever increasing numbers. Heart felt thumbs up for a great job , thankyou Jenelle.

I love Hugh Grant. He is so dashing, charming and so well educated that he is a pleasure to listen to. His ease with the english language fits so well with his chosen profession that he quits every year or so
  • @gingerdame
Probably one of the best interviews of Hugh Grant I've ever seen! He revealed a lot; he was reminiscing quite a bit; it felt very natural. Jenelle's very talented! I wouldn't mind seeing any other interviews!
  • @kaseryn
Janelle Riley, interviewer par excellence. I think she must be about the only person who could get this kind of quality interview from Hugh. Always, always a pleasure. You would fairly watch her interviews if you knew or cared little for the subject, such is her knowledge, warmth, humility and deftness of touch. Awesome and adorable. So glad to see the many similarly minded comments made here.

I think Hugh Grant is a breath of fresh air. Charming but not pretentious, wonderful dry wit and very honest and self-effacing. A friend of one of my good friends met him several years ago, and she said he was courteous and gentlemanly, without being standoffish 😊
