You getting cold at frostallion with your sweepa is because depending on what type your pal is (fire or ice) it will affect the temperature fire heating you up whereas ice freezes you but as long as you have the right temperature protection it won’t affect you

9:53 it's because whenever you have an ice pal in your party fighting with you, the temperature will turn colder. The same thing happens with fire pal except the temperature turns warmer.

For future reference you can wear a mercy hit ring and as long as you are riding the pal and using the abilities yourself then it wont die. I guess it dont matter much cuz they fixed this though.
