  • I came to NYC in 1989 at the age of 13 from Poland. I knew two English words, Thank you and Goodbye. I spent 32 years in NYC, I never moved anywhere else in the US. I went to F.H. LaGuardia H.S. for the Performing Arts, some community college. Covid destroyed the city. I am back in Poland, mom is getting old. SNL during your tenure dudes and gals, WAS THE SHIT!!! I mean it. Thank you for the laughs. You will all be in my heart forever. Be well boys and girls of the best cast of SNL. Much love!

If you would film these interviews this would became one if the biggest podcasts. Incredible guests and interviews.

I saw him live in Orlando recently.😉 What a great stand up and down to earth human being.🥰
  • i feel so lucky to hear this for free! thanks for the content from such legends

I often admire Dana admiring The Rock. Love them and their podcast. SNL stories never get old. The best ERA!
  • Chris Rock has always been one of my favorite SNL cast members.
  • I love that whole era of SNL. Late 80's to mid-90's. Not only were they all super funny but they all truly liked each other. On top of that they are all really great people. Very genuine.
  • Watching comedy and comedic podcasts has been my primary Great Guide through a man’s mind. I didn’t grow up with men around, it’s been so beneficial to have comedians like these make it so fun for me! It’s comedic medicine😹.
  • Always loved Rock, but Chris is a treasure. Just a top notch professional, and after that “incident “, he became legend.
  • One of the funniest one liners I ever heard Chris say was in an interview when he and Spade were doing an interview together promoting Grownups 2. He was asked "What's it like working with David" He said, " It's tough, David can bring the Skippy out in anybody"
  • We need video! This is best podcast in the world and there’s no video! Cmon guys! This is borderline sacrilegious!
  • Wow. From David & Dana's introduction of Chris, I immediately thought, "this sounds just like the kind of guy I would slap in the face in front of millions of people for telling an innocent joke!" Big respect to the Rock! Nat X was my favorite.
  • Chris has integrated his shadow. He's fortunate to know what he's capable of. I think it's scarier not knowing. A great comedian. Absolutely great talk!
  • I been waiting for Chris Rock to come on the show!!
    Awesome it finally happened!!

Btw, is it me or is it hard to tell Dana's and Spade's voices apart?....LOL.
  • I recently saw Cris Rock walking around Washington Square Park in NYC with Lake Bell and he looked very happy. I’m glad for him, he’s in that time when he has a lot less to prove and he can lap up the love from his status.

It’s interesting what Rock says about being comfortable with his anger when almost exactly one month later the Oscar slap happens and that statement gets the ultimate test. Of course, that was on stage in a professional environment so his reaction was perfectly understandable as his post incident comments.
  • Boys, if you want this channel to be successful, start shooting video. It's a waste of your physical talents and it's a more engrossing experience to see the interpersonal back and forth.

"We are (stand up comedians) the last of the speakers. The last of the thinkers". The last place we can hear people say their thoughts is thru stand up. Pretty true. That being said, we need a comedy revolution to take over the world. In this stage of history, with all the division, sickness, natural disasters and negative trends, we NEED comedians to take courage and step up and get us to laugh. It heals. Trade out the cancel coulture for a world where we can laugh at ourselves, our humanity. These guys taught me to laugh at myself daily and embrace the things we share in common (be it good or bad) - theres a profound unity to be found in comedy. Thank you David, Dana and Chris.
  • This might be the deepest of these podcasts I've seen so far. Rock is quite the philosopher. Really makes you think.
  • 43:30 "Dann-a Clarko!!!"
Bout spit out my breakfast! : )
Awesome guys, I'm 54 grew up with all your stuff. These are great!
