Why are they suprised they have european ancestory? They are speaking spanish, spain is in europe
  • @alexandria4401
What people don’t understand is that Hispanic is an ethnicity not a race
  • @vickiersful
as a brazilian myself i always found weird when i see latino people talking about race and they expect the results being a percent of the country their family come from or even thinking that the "native" part would be the country name. once i saw a dna test that the guy was expecting "100% caribbean", like......... really? it just seems people have absolutley no knowledge about the really basics of colonization and how the racial formation happened in latin america

It's interesting how proud, loud and obnoxious they all are about their identities but when looking at a DNA test are confused, shocked and even upset. I'm Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian and pretty much accurately guessed my genetic breakdown before my results even came in. These people spent 0 time learning about history, but will talk themselves blue about colonization and ancestry.
  • I want to see siblings do a DNA test and see the difference in percentages
  • @ccth22
Julissa’s mother describing where all the genetics come from could have been an episode all by itself😂😂😂

This is the day that Eli found out he isn't actually afrolatino, he's just VERY indigenous. He should be very proud! that is a rare find! I hope he's reconnecting

I am Peruvian and I am proud of my Spanish and indigenous roots 🇵🇪❤️🇪🇦

Damm the Mexican was more African then the Dominican girl
  • If you are Latino you have Spanish blood in you....which is European. Some of these people don't seem to know this.....at least prior to this test.

Soy Cubano, I did my DNA test like 3-4 years ago and I was 67% african. 20% Native American , 10% East Asian and 3% European. Lol I was very surprised. I was hoping atleast 90% african but is ok I am still me. I’m really happy for them, La hondurena esta muy bonita ❤️
  • @dottore3870
So mixed race people are surprised they have mixed heritage.

  • 6:53 - “Latinx” was coined by people who don’t understand how Spanish works. Many Latinos/Latinas see the ‘X’ as odd and off-putting because it not follow the rules of either Español or Castellano, and therefore, makes it difficult for native speakers of Spanish dialects to pronounce the term.
