For those who are curious about the meaning/translation, this song doesn't need any explaining. Most of the lyrics are a word play of "solmization" (do re mi fa sol la si do) of the exact note, just like: La le le luk sila sol [la la la la si la sol] Mifa mifa sol [mi fa mi fa sol] Le'le tiding fafa [la la mi mi fa fa] Though there are also some "translate-able" lyrics, such as: Maumere de gale kota ende [Maumere is the city of songs] Putar ke kiri e, nona manis putar lah ke kiri (4x), dan ke kiri (4x), manise [Twist to the left, sweetheart twist to the left (4x), and to the left (4x), oh dear] Sekarang kanan e, nona manis putar lah ke kanan (4x), dan ke kanan (4x), manise [Now to the right, sweetheart twist to the right (4x), and to the right (4x), oh dear] And there is a word "Gemu", means an act of putting something inside your mouth. Therefore, it says "Gemu Fa Mi Re" which I think can be interpreted as "put the music in your mouth" This song doesn't care about your nationality or whether you understand the language or not. As long as you enjoy the music, that's all. This is LITERALLY a universal song
