English - the most Angered Japanese - the most Scared Chinese - the most Pained Korean - the most Desperate They all have these same tones, but each kinda have an emphasis that match the moment so well. In all of them though, I genuinely teared up.

All language VAs put their whole Kunikuzussies into their performance, epic job
  • The Korean was so good it was like he was really begging to not take his gnosis away, his Korean VA did a good job

Damn the Korean one really hit hard. I think it did the best in showing us scara’s emotion. The KR VA did a really good job
  • No matter who wins in your opinion, I gotta say that all of the VAs were able to convey how they thought Scara would react in this situation. Disbelief, anger, grief, bargaining… All of this boils down to a very nuanced character that we can finally meet properly in the future: Someone who went through the 5 stages of grief but is currently stuck on the last step “Acceptance”

Hoyoverse really hit the jackpot with Scara's vas. Literally all of them are so good, especially with this cutscene. No matter the language, all I feel is emotional damage
  • I always say it but the Korean dub is PAINFULLY underrated in the community. The voice actors they brought on nail their respective characters
  • @juliette7151
the korean one's voice crack in the last scream is absolutely amazing
  • @WL-bs4nc
This is the saddest cutscene in the game IMO. Mostly because no matter the language, they still have the pure emotion to make you feel the biggest sense of empathy for Scaramouche.
  • God the Chinese VA of scara really bring the chills when he was desperate for the gnosis

I play with the Korean voices and when I heard him cry out like that and then fall, I wanted the traveler to catch him so bad :( I named the wanderer Rahma because it means mercy in Arabic. His story is so sad. I'm glad he is being given another chance.

Korean hit me in the feels. All the VA’s did an amazing job

Man, I love Scara. He's such a tragic character, his mother lets him go to live his own life, to not hold a massive responsibility. His only freind and family feared him, he didn't even understand the concept of illness killing someone. He just wanted to be worth something. I'm definitely pullin for him.
  • @zuko9846
imo the chinese and korean versions really hit, you could feel how strong his emotions were through his voice. the va's did an incredible job
  • @takarifan
Kudos to Patrick Pedraza, Tetsuya Kakihara, Luyin and Min-Seong Woo for the epic voice performance as Scaramouche. All of his voice actors have nailed the character flawlessly through his fear, anger, hatred and suffering.
  • @franta3531
The Japanese version literally blended anger, tiredness and regression altogether so well. Man how is his va so good at this
  • @petrichorrs
Either all of his VA's rent was due or their entire career depended on this cutscene because God did they all do a fantastic job, I can't pick which one is my favourite. They all tug my heartstrings. I can feel the desperation, realization, pain, and fear in their voice. HoYo loves Scara so much they made sure to give me emotional damage in all versions lol. The cutscenes in this Archon quest are the saddest ones in the game imo.

korean hits different u can feel his desperation
  • @EvaValenti
All of them are so, so good. The voice crack at the end of the Korean one, though… It’s perfect. Each one delivered so much emotion. I’ve listened to them over and over just because they all did such an amazing job.
