  • Hi from a warm and sunny Newzealand you have to dig the trash to find the treasures ! Love the videos!
  • Good hunt nice to see a true Detectorist finds the good things will come good luck on the next πŸ€πŸ‘
  • Stick with it, Tessy. The more you detect the more you'll learn your machine. Congrats on getting your own permission. Good luck. X
  • @dltreasures
Nice hunt before work, good luck horseshoe, along with some unknown items. Nice George III penny! HH

Perserverance is key Tessy, it takes time to learn the machine and what you are hearing in your headphones. The Detecting Gods heard you & rewarded you with a G3 coin at the end. With the really toasted coins I use a bit of Pink Stuff (you can get it from B&M etc) and a cloth. It will take that crud off with some gentle rubbing and you should be able to ID your copper coins easier....don't use it on anything valuable though! If there's Georgian coins on there, you'll find silver soon enough! Take care
  • I always dig them. You will never know what is there or with the iron. Once you learn the sounds it’ll be much easier. New sub too. Thanks for sharing!😊😊✌🏻✌🏻
  • I was out in the muddy fields yesterday but I was enjoying it, that's what it's all about. Well done Tessy keep at it on your permission it will produce the goods. Until the next one take care. John

Very entertaining. I think the the strip of metal with a forked end is a wall tie. They are used in cavity walls to strengthen.
  • You can bring the horseshoes up really well with a wire brush. It's certainly worth doing. Don't lose patience with the field. There will be decent stuff there with the iron. The more iron you remove the better the field will be. Whilst you're getting to know the machine, dig everything. It takes time but you will get to recognise what to dig and and what to leave. Remember a coin is a coin. Its a win in my book and the decorative piece was lovely too

  • @ablettgone
Great video and well done with the George III penny, but if age to that ehπŸ‘πŸ» noticed that your sensitivity in video was turn down 2 notches, keep it just 1 notch down it’ll give more depth and clearer ids then if jumpy Id turn it up full sensitivity to confirm iron, if not then jump the coil straight up and down above the target and it should give you a confirmed id for iron then you can walk away. All the best and great work Tessy πŸ‘πŸ»
