As of 5 a.m. Monday morning, it has maximum sustained winds of 30 mph and is 715 miles east-southeast of Antigua, moving west-northwest at 25 mph. Current models indicate the storm will likely curve towards Bermuda, bypassing the East Coast. However, the powerful system could bring significant erosion to the North Carolina coast and dangerous rip currents late this week and next weekend.
