  • Its genuinely depressing. HLL is the first shooter in years where I really enjoy the base gameplay, but as you said, it seems like Team 17 is dead set on running the IP into the ground.
  • @RenanSAbreu
As always. Every game i start playing and loving, the game starts to fall apart. Fucking hell man, i can't catch a break.
  • Being a console player, we're kind of stuck. As you say there are so many legacy issues with the game, its improved since last year but i feel the road map that was laid out for this year has gone out the window. Unfortunately Squad 44 isnt on PS5 so we cannot experience it! We're just going to have to stick it out and hope for the best.
  • Modders have added what, 30 new vehicles to Squad 44, and they didn't even get paid for doing it. That's not including the new maps and Theaters. HLL has no excuse for their shitty developers and complete lack of teamwork
  • @zafylo_
Black Matter... we so very much miss you guys
  • @AA-or4dt
Went back to post scriptum (squad 44) after update 15.1. I haven’t looked back since.
  • @swatbaker
Funny how the roadmap got basically cut more than in a HALF but priced went UP a third, perhaps even a quadruple of before. Big studio buying small ones are killing video games, cant change my mind.
  • @pedroOG91
I moved to squad 44 and i dont regret it .
  • @Vergil20000
So basically. Hell Let Loose is moving towards its downfall while the Squad 44 (Post Scriptum) is making a comeback. Squad 44 actually have tons of new players now.
  • If they could justify the price that would be one thing but now they're straight out treating it like a cash cow.
  • @kthxpls
Jeez, I wanted to buy this game so bad, but even with a discount still a bit expensive and they keep raising the price.
  • @Prest0n97
The pacific won’t happen. The new map made by the new team is small and lacks detail. Without going to long on this the map looks like it is made by beginner level designers. Trenches look clean with voids you can see into the map. Prop trucks look drivable which is confusing. With this said the pacific would be too much for the team to handle
  • Didn't they changed that cosmetic pack to be able to use on all maps now? Along with that load up menu screen.
  • @TROD..
I’ve tried to get into HLL, I even bought it first. But the gameplay isn’t for me compared to Squad 44. I don’t feel like I’m part of a team or in a battle in HLL, it’s really disconnected and even when there is communication it isn’t at the same level I’ve experienced when playing Squad 44. As a new player in both games. My experience with HLL has been very uncommunicative. Of the 25 hours i’ve played I only had two matches, on the same map where I had effective communication with my squad mates. I tried to join a reputable server and discord but couldn’t because I wasn’t a high “enough” level, I was lvl 20 I had to be level 50, and there was no indication of that in the browser. Compared to Squad 44 I can jump into or queue for a server and once I join a squad I hit the ground running; I know what I have to do, where I have to be, and where I have to go next, all while having great communication. Whereas in HLL the layout of objectives is checkerboard like and the objective layout design is really basic; to the point where it gets predictable, and your garrison or outpost is being watched. Compared to my experience with S44 where objectives layout makes sense and flows better in terms of gameplay for infantry; it also seems like logistics has more abilities to maneuver around the objective and map then HLL. Also little things in S44 compared to HLL gameplay wise I find better, i.e medic is an established role that can heal you above 75% and has 15 morphine syrettes, but infantry has the ability to bandage other players to 75% health and has 1 morphine syrette for other infantry just in-case. Also it might sound stupid, but the idea of cover and concealment is far more fleshed out in S44, you can go through or above, not just around a hedge like HLL as well as deploy a machine gun or AT in these places to take out armor; same goes for reloading and armor in S44. The only gripe I often have with S44 is how inaccurate weapons can be up close, the inaccuracy affect with low stamina. I enjoy the canteen system as it forcefully slows the ability to advance without sacrificing much in terms of gameplay; with the exception of rifle wobble and inherent inaccuracy when aiming. HLL also has “better” graphics but that’s not really important to me as much as gameplay and S44 graphics aren’t abysmal; they’re standard to me.
  • @tmo_117
I’m going to start playing Squad 44, see you guys on the front
  • Numbers are looking good and the price I think people will wait for a sale. Honestly most shooters cant come close to hell let loose even with its issues. Hopefully over time the game will improve.

swapped to squad 44 already, i had lots of hope when Team17 released their initial roadmap but since then the roadmap has proven to be completely made up and instead they have resulted to mediocre updates that dont really add anything of signifigance to spice up the gameplay aside from maps that dissappear from the server rotations after a month HLL is still plagued by bad game design like the fuel system for spawning tanks, this system means you will never see the tiger or jumbo 75 ingame because "theyre not meta and cost as much as the better tank"
