How to Setup the Google Chromecast

In this video I show you how to set up the Google Chromecast for the first time. If you have any questions, please ask in the comments below. I will be coming out with additional tips/tricks for future videos as well.

The Google Chromecast works great with YouTube, Netflix, Hulu and more!

I always power my chromecast with the usb slot in the back. If your tv does not have a usb port, you can use the included power plug.

Helpful for me and my roommate RE-boxing the product. We're returning it because it's incompatible with our school's shit wifi, so we put it back in the box, almost exactly how it looked before unboxing it. Thanks for the help dude.

Very informative. Thanks. I have been using a free casting app, but its so slow and a pain in the backside with ads etc. I will now order myself a Chromecast, which is just what I was looking for.

I'm actually sold on this device over Roku because it doesn't require an account and password (with a payment method) to remember. Just another mobile device to control this adapter with (or to act as a remote which surprisingly isn't a problem in my household with an I-Pad and blu tooth)... Thank you for setting up the video and the walkthrough; otherwise thumbs-up, thank you again...

I have installed everything correctly but still cannot cast. I tried reinstalling/resetting the chromecast 3-4 times. And after set up, it just goes back to being "cannot be detected"

Dude you’re so awesome I thought I had a defective chrome cast and I realize that I was plugged into the power source and I didn’t have it connected to my USB this video rocks
