An 8-month-old female tiger recently rescued from a privately-owned facility by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife is now being cared for by the Oakland Zoo The zoo's veterinarians say the young tiger had at least 10 fractures and decalcified bones from eating an inappropriate diet. to make a bad situation worse, itll probably have major trust issues and will become easily stressed or agitated, making it hard to care for even after its injuries are healed.
