“The tire, relatively speaking, is pretty small.” We’ve definitely come a long ways. It wasn’t that long ago that you had to do some pretty significant trimming to get a 33 to fit on a midsize truck, now we have a 35 inch option. This is probably the coolest thing about the AEV and Colorado/Canyon in my opinion. Hopefully GM can iron out the electronics!

I don’t understand how GMC can’t just make an SUV version of this truck.

The more i hear about those prices the more i love my 2nd gen S-10 off road rig.

Perhaps truck companies should focus on one or two models of purpose built midsized trucks for offroading and make full sized and work trucks cheaper for the rest of us. I'm sorry but an 60, 70, 80, 90 thousand dollar pickup trucks is bad for our wallets and economy.

I never understand how in aftermarket upgrades from the Manf they charge near full price for it. You didn't get to keep the extra shocks, springs, bumpers, wheels and tires, they did. So the price upgrade for a set of wheels and tires should be the difference, instead it is massive marked up.

All I want to know is who is going to buy these expensive midsized trucks.

I think it would be easier to add a rooftop tent if the AEV version had an option swing out tire carrier on the rear bumper.
  • Wow thats a crazy trail to showcase your new trucks on. They must have a ton of confidence in them.

Andre is the best asset TFL has.

I'm curious what trail that was. I didn't recognize it, and I have been a few trails with the Skyliners 4wd club here In Northwest Montana where I live.

Keep in mind the standard 1500 has the aev bumper which is why the package is $3000 less. So 9000-10000 more likely. The 1500 and 2500 also didn't upsize the tires and have to change the flares.

Ask them about the AT4X glitches. So far my cameras work intermittently same with the blind spot monitoring. Cluster changes to KM/H then back to MPH on its own. Adaptive cruise brakes with nothing in front of it. Really love the truck but the constant electrical issues are making that hard to do

the AEV looks like an amazing truck. My only issue just from watching this video is the vertical mounted spare in the rear. Wish it was side mounted instead of against the cab. Looks like it blocks your rear vision. According to GMC website, the Canyon AT4X AEV is roughly 66,600 depending on options...
