In Halo 3 you can tell chief felt defeated seeing Miranda lifeless in Johnson's arms. He wasnt able to save Captain Keyes, and he failed to save Miranda...chief fucked up the covenant with prejudice fs. Keyes was Johns friend, and although it wasnt his mission, im sure he felt responsible for keeping his daughter, Miranda, safe...poor john...his luck only saves him. But hes not lucky enough to be able to keep the people closest to him safe. This is a tragedy of our favorite warrior

Its interesting how chiefs love dynamic with cortana keeps him going, the feats 1 man can accomplish with the right woman at their side absolutely amazing! For those of u that have experienced love or in the midst of it, u know what it feels like its almost like it enhances ur instincts and abilities. For those of u that have yet to experience it i pray that one day soon u will.
