IMO they have more in common than people think (personality wise) and that’s why they don’t like each other. Both are arrogant about their craft and their pitching styles and hate the other because of that, Bauer hates Gerrit natural ability to pitch and Cole hates Trevor methodology to make a nobody and better pitcher than him (in college) once they got separated in the draft that beef slowed down a bit but they clearly are not friends… good content

Its funny that most elite pitchers now currently use the " Bauer Method" while warming up and training. Ohtani said in a recent interview recently he uses the "Bauer Metgod" along with many other elite pitchers.

Difference is Bauer was honest and Cole was slimy about it. I respect Bauer because of his honestly and bold approach. Cole strikes me as more of a corporate figure.

i have more respect for TB as a pitcher after this video. Guy wasnt born with the same physicality but he made it work with his brain and people hate him partially because they dont understand the process and because he's different. i know he's also apparently pretty abrasive but damn getting treated like that in college and bullied a lot would do that to a guy lmao

Bauer was the better pitcher in college...and though Cole makes more money it's fairly close despite two contrasting styles. Hopefully Bauer gets back on the mound soon.

And now every MLB team uses science to help pitchers get better and flexibility training. Stuff Trevor was doing well before it became a thing and was mocked for it. He knew flexibilty would increase longevity and prevent injuries
