I'm 15 years old and all I listen to is old music like dis I hope I'm not the only one😭
  • They don’t make music like this anymore this is pure talent they actual sing about relationships without degrading women

I love that this romanticizes brown eyes and black girls 💛 I miss the era where we openly celebrated our black features. *Edit: Here I am 3 years later, completely tickled & simultaneously perplexed at how triggered folks have been by this. This song really warmed my heart b/c brown eyes are often not publicized to be "pretty eyes," "beautiful eyes," etc. They're treated like the pennies of American currency. In the black community, light colored eyes were always more celebrated. It was a default to have brown eyes; to have something different immediately made you more exciting, interesting & attractive. For these black men to display brown-eyed African American women in their video, & sing about "pretty brown eyes," awwww. It truly warmed my heart. They broke the mold in a beautiful & healthy way. That is all 😌🫶🏽 Take care, everyone!

As a 15 yr old I wish more people my age appreciate this kind of music ❤❤ thx to my dad for playing this music everyday
  • Why don’t the young black generation reclaim this beautiful music spirit? It’s a blessing don’t waste it on self gratification pursuits
  • I’m 14 and a hopeless romantic 😭 this is the only music I listen to Including DeBarge, Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, MJ, Prince and ofc mint condition and even more then I can name I wish someone would make music like this again 😭😭😭

I used to think Mr Sure was being over the top in this video. I now realize he is just conveying the meaning of the song which is quite a talent❤

Since there's so many other teens here, I just wanted to say that I am also 15! I love my pretty, dark, chocolate brown eyes! 🤎

They don’t even make 6 minute songs anymore 😫😫😫
  • Im 20, and these are the only songs that speak to my soul. This whole era is just so me. I've always been told I got an old soul. I wish my generation could bop to this, the way that I do. My boyfriend is over me playing this song lmao.
