The real struggle comes when all your nails have different shapes of their own and they're not equidistant from the tip of the finger

those nails are so perfect. already naturally long. i mean sometimes you can even choose not to grow them long and still wear nail polish and stuff. ❤️ and mine are so small that they are barely there. 😭
  • My clients nails are never this perfect starting out, it would be helpful to have a video tutorial on nails that are not perfect to begin with.

For those taking the Nail Tech Exam: Filing up and down on the sides will get you points off, only file towards you on the sides. (Filing towards the cuticle can cause cuts in the skin and tears on the sides of the nail causing potential infection). Also sawing the free edge will get you points off (can promote peeling and splitting).

I wouldn’t recommend filling back and forth on ur natural nail like that, as it can cause breakage and it’s not very good for ur nails. Instead filing in the same direction, same way because it doesn’t pull or damage ur nails. Just a tip!!😁😁
  • Round nails are always best when trying to grow out your natural nails (square and sharp edges make it easier for corners to break)

This would have been much more helpful if the nails weren't already filed down at the sides.

Should have done this over a black cloth. Good tho
  • Should do a video on how to go from a small square to a small oval / almond nail.
