Stewart Copeland, The Police's drummer is one of the most underrated drummers of all time. He puts in an incredible amount of energy into every song and its usually very subtle. This song is a perfect example. Look how hard he works for a relatively laid back song.

Very few songs live on for generations. This is one such classic. I believe 50 years from now, it will still be played...

I was twelve years old when this song came out in 83. God, I love the eighties! The music and times are beyond description. The memories were fantastic. Glad I was old enough to remember the times. That's really all that's left. No regrets!

Sting was the brain, Stewart was the heart, and Andy was the backbone

Lots of times when you see modern videos of 80s bands it doesn't compare to how they sounded in their prime, but even by 2008 The Police seriously sounded just as good. I'm sure they would today too. Makes it an even bigger shame they broke up.
