  • I’m 55 was 14 in 1980 and spent all my life listening to 70s and 80s tunes . Nothing else compares and never will. No band in this century will ever be as good as half of the bands of those two decades! Eagles , Kansas , bob seger, Asia , kiss, David Bowie, prince ,wham, Motley Crue, bonjovi, Styx, reo speedwagon, journey , 38 special, pat benatar,Cher,Tina turner, Bruce Springsteen,ZZ Top, abba,Olivia Newton John,Queen, Eddie money, genesis, the hooters ,the outfield, the cars , Fleetwood Mac ,Van Halen, blue oyster cult, bee gees, spinners , Donna summers, Michael Jackson,Madonna, billy squire billy Joel, AC/DC , omg I could go on for an hour!
  • Graduated 1978, This music will never die,Our parents raised us hard-core, I thank them.
  • In 1982 I was in junior high. I think I was the only little black boy in America who absolutely loved this song.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 it still rocks 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Rindy had the whole package...the beauty, the voice, and throw in real musical talent with the sax...Quarterflash made some of the best music of their era. Rindy should have became a whole lot bigger star.

the saxophone and violin with the electric guitar are absolutely amazing, it's great to learn that they're still a couple and still performing after five decades
  • @megalorain

  • @kentcoble3412
I love how the violin and the saxophone. Bounce off each other near the end of this song.

That 'Oh Babeee" gets me every time.

Quarterflash and The Motels are my favorite 80s “should have been bigger” bands. ❤
  • @handyreis
This is real music!!! I sure miss the 80's.  I saw Quarterflash open up for Loverboy in I believe 1982, they were awesome!

If I could go back to the 80's I would never leave them. I would just keep repeating them. I dont even care what age I would be, as long as I could walk, talk and hear
  • @Bluesky-bx2ig
OMG! Haven't heard this one since the 80's! The Eighties were great! So is YouTube! Thanks!
  • I've always been amazed that Quarterflash didn't end up huge international superstars.  imo the degree of talent here is astonishing.  And bringing a saxophone and even a violin into Pop/Rock music is balls to the wall.  :)

I was stunned when Quarterflash hit the scene in the early 80's. Fantastic sound! I'm still just as knocked out now as I was then. No one else like them anywhere today. Just classic music, great vocals, super lyrics! Rock on Quarterflash!!!

A very underrated and under appreciated group!
  • @generizzolo2755
I remember seeing these guys open for Elton John at the Garden in '82. When they came on I was thinking, Please just finish and let Elton go on...but by the time they were done I was like Damn these guys are great!! Thanks for posting - great memories!

Heard this song on satellite the other day driving home from work forgot how good it was...an 80's band no one talks about anymore but those of us who were around then remember them fondly.
