I lost a German Shepherd to breast cancer. I had her spayed at a year old. It wasn't located right on the breast. It was off to the side a bit. Man i loved that girl. It was tough 💔

Our childhood dog had to get an emergency spay because the uterus was getting infected. She survived luckily. And while doing an internship with a vet we had a dog come by that had mamory gland tumor I believe. We had to remove all of her mamory glands and let me tell you that operation is way more intense and tougher to recover from then a normal spay.

I love that you check over dogs for health signs. I know most groomers must but it's so easy to miss things when you see a dog every day. Sometimes you need new eyes to notice things.
