OMG, you kill me every time with the deliciousness levels. I've learned to make something even vaguely Chinese to eat while I'm watching. I can't wait for the next street food video. When I eventually get to China, I think it will have to be in winter because I'm a sweaty-betty as it is and the spices take me to the next level. Thanks for another excellent adventure xx

Just when I thought I know all the major cuisines in China, BAM you drop Guizhou on us?!! Now I got Guizhou (Guiyang) on my China travel list. My heart skips a beat everytime you upload a new video.😂😸🤭 You've got hardcore fans worldwide.🌎 Thanks for all you do Amy!!😍♥️👍

Beautiful and inspiring video!!! You honestly create the most delicious food content and as a major fan of Chinese food and spice- my tastebuds go wild everytime! I want to visit China one day myself for a good tour and to visit these amazing places. You’re such an inspiration! Keep up the amazing eats!

Thank you so much for visiting our hometown, Blondie. For people away from home for many years, this makes us feel nostalgic and touching. You are 100% accurate, Guiyang food is definitely over-spicy even for many local people, but the feeling is "I have to torture myself because I don't want to miss this delicious food", lol.

  • OMG, Amy, I was literally screaming!!!!!! You visited my HOMETOWN!! As a 冰粉 lover, you've gotta go to青岩古镇 and try some famous 玫瑰冰粉! Also some pig's feet! What about some 肠旺面 and 牛肉粉? Night market, yes!! All kinds of 烧烤, and maybe some 砂锅粉/饭? Finally, let the world see our food!!😆😆😆

There is one detail of video shown at 11:15 that even in the city of Guiyang the service of the restaurant is very good. When Amy asked the waitress about carp soup the girl use “您”not “你 ”which showed the restaurant was very service-oriented. And time to try the cow flat hot pot😝

Hey Amy, as a guy from Guiyang I am so glad you decided to go to Guiyang. I haven't been able to go back to Guiyang for many years because of COVID 19. It's impossible to find any authentic Guizhou food in NZ and it makes me more homesick. But thanks to your video, it brings back some great memories that make my eyes wet. Thank you, Amy, and please keep uploading more awesome vids!

You have really become the authentic 'Spicy Girl' in China now. I can't even eat the sour spicy food although I'm Chinese

This is a place where elders sing, dance in the park during the day, the youngsters out eating, kids play at night. People are just living peacefully and enjoying their life. A scene you will never get if you are a CNN, BBC reader, or in this case, an ABC (Australian Broadcasting Co.) reader. Thank you, Amy, for being a great ambassador. Hope SBS could use your videos.
  • @kimslau
Amy this video is a true revelation for a BBC like me. I never knew this existed! Thanks for showing us this cuisine. You are amazing! You bring new Chinese tastes to us everytime that I would not be able to experience. I envy you. You are truly remarkable.
