None of this song REALLY means anything to me. But it's me the WORLD to several of my friends who found acceptance and loving of themselves simply because someone "big" normalized them and helped them to see that there's NOTHING wrong with them and that they can be as beautiful a soul as anyone. And for many people, that's a message that never gets delivered. My friends are different, and they are normal. And they found self-confidence and self-pride because the Lady and her music, and for no other reason than the betterment of my friends, I will always be grateful to her. Gaga, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Secret Of Life” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you 💕
