Unfortunately, their name is a little deceptive and they are no angels!
They are not ideally suited to the standard community aquarium, but with a bit of careful planning and a good sized fish tank, a nice community can be achieved.

brilliant. Thank you Fish Shop Matt. My Grandfather used to breed and sell angelfish and he is the one that nurtured my nature love for nature and also the aquarium hobby, so angelfish alway remind me of him. Big love from 'across the pond' in the USA.

Great species spotlight! I have a pair of angels (male and female and occasionally spawn) in a 66 gal with Corydoras and glowlight tetras. It seems a happy balance.

Matt would love to see "biotope" or area specific videos where you highlight fish/plant/inverts from different places and what the " natural " habitat looks like. Also what fish do well together for the best behaviors. Lolz
