This was by far the most difficult NELK video to watch, and I’ve been subbed since 500K, so that says a lot. You have been struggling to find the line between prank and disrespect since Jesse left. With pranks, the joke should end up being on the prankster, not the victim. During the prank, the victim should feel angry at or embarrassed for you, but when it is revealed to be a prank, they should be able to return to a neutral state of mind and find the humor in it. In this video and several others, the victims do not return to that state. I’d recommend watching shows like Impractical Jokers or even very old NELK videos for inspiration. This habit of disrespect is clearly getting old with the fans (just look at this comment section) and it’s gotta change ASAP. Bring back the funny (and Jesse would be a welcome return too).
