All of this because his wife wouldn't pass him the god damn syrup
  • @skymungar
The Quarter master is like the random person you met in game who's a veteran who's played for a couple years and is fine dealing with your shit as a new player
  • @Loglam
I am genuinely bothered by how well Sumito voices the angry wife.
  • @corporalkills
All these stock image costume models had no idea they would play supporting roles in a blockbuster film.
  • @luk7400
"What's your favourite movie?" "It's complicated..."
  • I feel so sorry for the quartermaster in this story. He seems competent, intelligent, and loyal. He definitely deserved better than having to deal with all this shit.

Moral of the story: It's not that a pirate can't be a gentleman, it's that gentlemen don't make for good pirates.

Internet Historian: creates FEATURE LENGTH FILM. Also Internet Historian: releases it on alternate account.... I shudder to imagine what will appear next on the main channel if this has become your idea of a shtpost.

"At age 6, Stede's father died." God, that dad died young.
  • Proof that storytelling is more important than special effects... not that they weren't first rate. 10/10.
  • @Tgungen
Him being tossed around, meeting legendary piates and participating in major events all while being stuck in the background truly makes this plot feel like a weird/funny spinoff movie of a major franchise . Reminds me of The Lion King 1½
  • @dirlone
Quartermaster not getting promoted to Halfmaster at the end was a missed opportunity
  • @Deathstock
"The gentleman pirate" Abandons family 8 minutes in
  • @3vrLol
Consider this: building his boat so that he could be a pirate took 3 times as long as his actual pirating career
  • His quartermaster and Blackbeard were extremely patient with him, probably because of how nice the guy was. They gave him way too many opportunities to shape up in my opinion.

“Internet Historian”, more like “History Historian”
  • @sokushi2482
Quartermaster is that dude with 5000 hours on a game, who just plays support even though he knows all of the tips and tricks for every other class... but he just wants to carry because noone else could do his job better than him
  • @boxman7044
It should be pointed out that Stedes bounty was one of the highest ever given to a pirate with it being even larger than blackbeards bounty by the time he was executed
