BEFORE YOU SHOCK YOUR POOL-WATCH THIS

Why should I shock my pool? Aren't some brands better than others? Doesn't everyone do it? Is it Saturday again? Isn't super chlorination right?

Here are the real answers every pool owner needs to know.

Many pool owners use granular chlorine (calcium hypochlorite) to shock their pools. While this is alright, but many time not needed, pool owners think they're getting a great deal with Super Shock or Burn Out Shock or Explosive Mega Ton Nuclear Shock.

Is there any difference, really, when it comes down to it?

Not really.

Most of the time you're getting normal granular chlorine but it comes in flashy packages with explosions and fire. The inside is the same, just at a higher price.

Save your money and simply buy normal liquid pool chlorine or chlorine granules.

I just subscribed to your channel for your knowledge on pools. I bought a house in AZ and it has a play pool. Neighbors tell me it is about 8000/9000 gal pool. I am totally uneducated in pool maintenance and i have been going to school on your videos. In November i will be shutting it down and after i learn how to keep it clean and affordable i will be taking notes on closing it. Thank you for your experience and effort in doing these videos.
