I love to make dough ornaments every year. One time, when I lived in an apartment complex, I played Secret Santa and hung ornaments and some candy on each of my neighbor's doorknobs. Another year, my kids and I decorated our next door neighbors house for Christmas. They had lost their husband/dad and weren't feeling very festive (understandably). So, we quietly got on their roof, hung lights, and put up other decor. They were so shocked when they came outside and saw it! Most of the time though, I make my famous "Reindeer Poop" (chocolate chip) cookies for all of my friends and I invite at least one person, who doesn't have any family here or anywhere to go, to Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. I don't have much financially, but I'm so blessed in so many other aspects and I love to share what I can with others.

I make cookies for my 92 year old Aunt and her friends at the nursing home. They are so so sweet. I love Old people. BTW I’m 71.

You are the sweetest woman in the world! My only son died 3 years ago. He was only 31. He was my decorator at Christmas time. He made all of my gorgeous bows and wrapped all my presents for me. After he passed my sisters dragged me to a fortune teller and my son did come through. One question I had asked is, how to make his bows and his inspiration for christmas decorating? He said, go on youtube. So long story short, this year is the first year I even wanted to attempt anything close to his caliber. I was watching many youtube channels this year and I happed to see you make your Olivia bows and I said, whoa, that’s the bow! That’s the bow my son use to make. I’m thinking, He probably watched you make your bows. What a gift you’ve given me Olivia! I just want to thank you for helping me get back my Christmas spirit. I miss my gorgeous son so much. He was my best friend too. He had moved to Mississippi for about 10 yrs. after high school. Then moved to the French quarter for quite some time. On his journey, he succumbed to drugs and became addicted to opiates and alcohol. At his lowest point he reached out to me ( with one of his best friends helping me to show him he needed to get home for help.) We live in Vermont. So, he did come home and then started the long journey of recovery. It wasn’t easy for him or our family. Watching a loved one suffer is the worst. He was at the end of this journey, in a very good place, almost ready to graduate from treatment, living a full-filling life when one morning 10-02-2017 a mile down the road from our home, he was in a horrible automobile accident! My only solace that day was that he hadn’t suffered, it was instant and it wasn’t his fault. I’ve been very sad and depressed every since his death, but your videos bring me a lot of comfort and happiness. Merry Christmas to You and your wonderful family! Today is my 62nd birthday. This is the best way to spend my day, just sitting watching all these DIY's and wishing I had the stuff to make some of these myself. I'm disabled, so I spend a lot of time watching these video's, not a whole lot I can do from my wheelchair, but I do bead a lot, I make jewelry for all my kids, grandkids and great-grandkids and friends and family.

I love watching it has been the best therapy for me with covid and my husband of 53 years passed away in February I helped my granddaughter make some christmas balls with glitter inside she is getting into crafting THANKS SO MUCH GOD BLESS YOU

I bless others by selling wreaths. I donate half of what I sell them for to my church’s special Christmas project. One year we ( as a church) contributed enough to build many houses for indigents with leprosy. This blessed my heart, the people who loved the wreaths, and especially those who now have a roof over their head. God bless you, Olivia!

Oliva, you have such a beautiful soul. My father was a Southern Baptist minster when I was young. My 97 year old father would adore you if he were here. Love everything you share.

Instead of my husband and I exchanging gifts with each other, we go shopping for the sweet animals in the local shelter. We deliver bags and bags of food, blankets, cat litter, and lots of toys. They need a little Christmas too.

Thank you for all you do. You bring a sense of peace, clarity, energy, and inspiration into my life. I am a single mother of three very young kids. I have a disabled 3 year old that does not walk, a six yr. old boy doing first grade at home and a seven year old daughter in second grade also doing home school. It is a very chaotic, busy, and challenge job but I love my kids dearly. At the end of the night when I put on youtube to relax, it's you I watch. It's me time and you have such a positive vibe, a sense of peace and calmness about yourself that just bring me joy. I thank you for sharing your talents with us.

Good morning Olivia! I had seen most of these projects but there were a few that were new to me. Thank you for the inspiration. For the secret question: I am a widow. My husband passed away last year, and this is a tough time of year for me. I find that helping others helps me the most. So I look for projects through my church that I can participate in. Buying gifts for needy families, wrapping presents in front of Walmart for free, etc. We just have to keep our eyes and hearts open and look for opportunities!! 🎄❤️🎄

Hello Olivia. My mom used to do these over the top Christmas Trees. Last few years of her life I would do them for her. Now that she is gone, I still do them for my Dad. It makes him so happy to have the Christmas traditions every year, even though he is unable to do them himself.

This is the first video of yours that I've seen...I love it! My mom died in April and my dad passed in 2015, so yes, the holidays are harder than other times for me lately, but I plan to never give up celebrating or decorating for Christmas. It's the time when the world is kind. I am blessed to have gotten a great job last week so I will have a little more of an allowance to buy fun things, but I still appreciate all the Dollar Tree, Goodwill, and other inexpensive items! In 2021, my one resolution is to prepare for Christmas and spend some time on me, making crafts and crocheting for Christmas. Anyway, thanks for being here!

Oh what a blessing you are to brighten so many of our days and give of your time and talents! My mother in law and father in law are in their late 80’s. Our children our all grown. My husband and I moved into their home and to be honest I did not see it as a blessing I was heartbroken to give our family farm up. God always has a plan. What a blessing it has been to care for them. We have learned so many things. My father in law started attending Church and excepted Jesus as his personal Savior. I have always loved helping others by praying and visiting with others who may not know our Lord. We al always have less fortunate over for holiday dinners.bless you Olivia❤️

I work for a financial institution and speak with people at our home office many times during the week. "The Christmas Fairy" sends gifts up for them to enjoy! "The Christmas Fairy" also leaves little gifts for the employees at her branch as well. Giving makes me feel good. Blessings!❄️🐕

Dear Olivia I love watching you craft. Your Olivia Bow has saved me. I was always having a problem making a bow, even after buying a bowdabra . After watching your tutorial I can now make a gorgeous full professional looking bow. Thank you. To answer your questions, my son and I love to bake and cook. Since it’s just the two of us we still do it a lot but now we give it away whether it’s a cake, pie or a dinner. Our holiday dinners also include any and all friends that don’t have any family near by or just have no plans. Everyone is welcome. Sometimes we have 2 extra sometimes 12. The more the merrier. Always enough for everyone. It’s kinda selfish. It warms my heart to cook and bake for everyone and run around serving them too.

My son was born with half of a heart so we spent so much time at childrens hospital,also why i go overboard for holidays because we never know how many he will have. During our long stay i started reading books to kids i didnt go to their room but they have a little play area where all the patients are welcome, except my son at the time he was a few months old, was in the cardiovascular icu and he had just had open heart surgery, anyways i read the grinch and polar express quite a few time and also helped them color and paint different items it truely does help kids who are so bored and most are there for long stays unfortunately. Although they enjoyed it i believe i was the one who really enjoyed it as it takes ur mind away for a little while anyways. I love your craft ideas and i love love the MacKenzie childs whimsical style ive seen you create. Also i love any hallmark Christmas movies they are great!!thank you

We go carolling at local low-income senior apartments and hand out care packages. For some, this is the only Christmas gift they receive.

Olivia, I always enjoy watching you. You actually bring a calmness to me. My life right now is difficult. I have 2 son's with mental health issues and watching you gives me hope. I'm going to make the candles and the wreath with the ornaments. What I love to do for others especially at the holidays is bake. I make honey balls. They're delicious. My mom taught me. She would give them out to friends and family because it was hard buying presents. She was an awesome baker. I could really use a new glue gun if I won the gift card.
