Usyk has got the background, the character, the skill, the resume, to lay claim to be one of the best boxers of all time.
-
A humble man. 335-15 in the amateur, 2008 Gold medalist in Plovdiv, 2008 Gold medalist in Liverpool, 2011 Gold medalist in Baku, 2012 London Olympics gold medalist. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Undisputed Cruiserweight champion, and now the Undisputed Heavyweight champion ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Oleksandr Usyk is a great ambassador to the sport of boxing. Usyk is 6" smaller, 7" shorter reach, 30 lbs lighter than Fury. ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ Usyk deserve to be the number 1 Pound-For-Pound best fighter together with Naoya Inoue and Terence Crawford. All these THREE are two division Undisputed champions.๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ

The ability to find a way to winโฆโฆ. The words of a veteran ๐ฎ๐ช
-
The way Usyk angles his arm instinctively to prevent Fury from grabbing him in the clinch, is why Usyk is elite
-
I agree. Usyk is not only technically brilliant, he's got huge spirit and a hell of a chin with a tolerance for pain. And he's a gentleman. I'm glad he won, he deserves it.
-
I like Teddy Atlas analysis. You ask him one question and he gives you the full breakdown of everything. ๐
-
Teddy gives you not only a lesson about boxing, but a lesson about life (and it's hugely appreciated!).
-
I love Teddy Atlas and the great champion Usyk.
-
Props to the interviewer here. Asked the question & gave the great man time to give us amazing in depth analysis. Top job ๐

Usyk is so fun to watch because he reminds me of the heavyweights from the 70s. He is on his way to become the goat of this era. Interesting that he has the same 6.3 height and 78 reach as Ali along with both having birthdays on 17 January and both being Olympic gold medalists.
-
How the hell he turn it around after R6... absolute Great
-
One thing not mentioned enough is Usyk's chin. When he needed to change the fight, he did so knowing he could take a punch (albeit there is always some risk, obviously), whereas Fury got heavily lamped once and was all over the place.

As an old guy, let me say this: Hold on to this moment. It's one you'll trot out many times over your next fifty years. Frazier-Ali 1 was that way for me. Like the Ali-Frazier fight, this one is a small but spectacular moment in a world-wide turbulent setting, with multiple wars, economic hardship, passionate political and cultural division... And aside from the boxing ins-&-outs and nuts-&-bolts that we love as fans, it's a great, great story, with great characters, and that--hopefully--will reach a wider audience in time.

A humble guy, I like Teddy Atlas. I wish him well and all the best in life. Hats ๐ฉ off Sir.
-
If Teddy Atlas says you're one of the greatest of all time, you can't get a better compliment.
-
Usyk kissing the cross on the beginning of the ninth roung. God is good
-
I like listening to Teddy. He's like that witty gritty Granpa I've always wanted
-
Usyk had surprising power when needed.
-
My thoughts exactly. Usyk is in my opinion one of the most well rounded fighters I've seen, but what makes him unbeatable it's his core strength. You can tell this man cut no corners, he's just solid in every single area. And just the way he carries himself, he's a great man. Reminds me of the old school greats. Well done Usyk! Definitely one of the GOATs of the sport.

Usyk is a SUPER GREAT CHAMPION! UNDEFEATED, UNCONQUERED, UNIFIED, UNDISPUTED, HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD! AND one of the greatest ever!
