I'm in favor of keeping a close eye on Amazon, but I think this could be an overreach. This is the modern-day equivalent of shelf spacing. I don't think they could go to a grocery store and say you can't put your brand here. You have to put another brand here.

So will the Attorney General also go for those product manufacturers who pay a premium for preferred placement on retail shelves? Perhaps the AG's office should also pursue paid product placements in movies and television programs? Perhaps we should also consider going after the commercial advertisers who pay to be on government-funded buses and shelters. Also, end product placement in the speed lanes at retail checkouts. No one needs to be making spontaneous purchases while unloading their cart to the belt. And what about those displays in the aisles of the grocery stores that slow us down? Some manufacturers pay a premium to have those products placed there. The AG needs to get on that, too.
  • lol , frivolous and a waste of taxpayer money. Try canceling your you tube account or your MLB account, name an app where cancelling your ongoing membership doesn’t take 3 to 4 steps. Stop buying from Amazon and get out of your chair and go to the store. Support your local economy
