This is a poem by Micheal Whitaker and this is my first attempt at writing some music for it. I hope you like it, it has some mistakes in it, but I am interested in just getting the tune down for now.

I'll sing it on the American Heritage radio on Friday and see what kind of response we get.

Bodie you have something there. It's yours to work with. Can't wait to here it in person. Maybe I should write one more stanza to lengthen it just a bit. Let me know what you think?
