I don't understand the reference to 1988. Kennedy & Nixon were the first televised debate that I remember in 1960. There have been presidential and vice presidential debates televised ever since.

[ 19:18 ] I gotta be honest.... I have NEVER heard anybody refer to migrants as "good swimmers".... So, I'm having trouble understanding how that is a slur or a racial insult. It doesn't even make sense. What, does saying they are good swimmers mock their webbed feet? They don't have webbed feet. Does it mock their looks - as if to say that migrants look like fish?? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that ain't it. Sooooo........
